TheOfficereceivedadditionalcomplaintsaboutamemberoftheBoardholding upasignsaying“nottrue”duringapubliccommentperiod. “TheOfficehasconcludedisreview oftheaforementionedcomplaintsandtheOffice’sdeterminationsaredetailedbelow.Violations LI. TheDiversityEmpowermentTeam. A complaint in this matter alleged that the District violated the Open Meeting Law through the formation and meeting of the Diversity Empowerment Team. The question is ‘whethertheDiversityEmpowermentTeamqualifiesasa“publicbody”undertheOpenMecting,Law.Underthecircumstanceshere,theOfficefindsthatitdocs.
